Born and raised on a North Dakota farm, Jannifer Hoffman started writing at the age of twelve, creating novels in her head while walking home from a one-room schoolhouse. A lifetime avid reader, she began writing in 1974 after reading The Flame and the Flower and Sweet Savage Love. After completing two historical romances, Ceremony of Deception and Silver Shadows, Jannifer decided to try her hand at contemporary romance.
She readily admits it took thirty years of hard work, writing classes and writer’s groups to finally realize what “serious writer” meant.
Her limited free time is spent sewing for a boutique and enjoying her family including three children, five grandchildren, and a special man who has been her partner for some twenty-five years. Jannifer lives on a lake in northern Minnesota during the summer and migrates to Yuma, Arizona for the winter.
She is currently working on her eight novel “Twisted Memories” |
