M. L. Cordle has been writing since she was a young child. Though she enjoys traveling, her home has always been Southwest Virginia, and she is extremely proud of the fact her Appalachian heritage dates back 250 years.
In her free time, she is usually writing but when she's not, she loves to read, excavate early American house sites, study Appalachian folklore, ghost hunt with her daughter, write poetry, and be outside with her animals. She believes her varied interests make her a well-read individual. She also believes her life experiences provide her with a wellspring of fodder for fascinating stories.
